To promote the noble cause of education, All India Shri Shivaji memorial society was established in 1918 by late Shri Shrimant Chattrapati Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur and H.H Late Alija Bahadur Madhavrao Scindia Maharaj of Gwalior .The foundation stone of AISSMS was laid by the auspicious hands of his royal Highness, the Prince of Wales on 19th November , 1921 in Pune. It was established with well defined objective to bring about all round development of students & to create technically skilled manpower in the various fields.

      To receive worldwide acclaim for excellence & efficient utilization of resources, the society has eminent personalities from various fields as members of management committee. Experts from science & technology are invited to share their skills and experience for continuous improvement in quality to develop all institutions as a center for excellence.
